Buyer Scenarios

When you need this service

You are rolling out global compliance or product training

Annual compliance refreshes, product launches, and onboarding programs for global workforces require consistent training content delivered in every employee's working language. We localize 30–60 minute courses across 10–20 languages in parallel, including voice-over, subtitles, on-screen text, and quiz localization — all SCORM or xAPI tested on your live LMS before delivery.

You are an e-learning company scaling into international markets

Training companies and LMS vendors expanding into EMEA or APAC need localized course libraries quickly. We partner with e-learning companies as a white-label production team, delivering localized courses that appear as your agency's work to your end clients. Ongoing partnerships scale from single courses per quarter to hundreds.

Your existing vendor breaks Articulate or Captivate functionality

Generic translation vendors extract text for translation then paste it back — often breaking Storyline triggers, Captivate variables, or Rise interactions. Our e-learning engineers are trained specifically on each authoring tool's internals, preserving every state change, variable update, and branching condition across languages.

You need SCORM / xAPI compliance verified on the target LMS

A localized course that fails to report completion is worse than no course at all. We publish and test every language version on your target LMS — Cornerstone, Docebo, SAP SuccessFactors, Moodle, Blackboard — verifying completion tracking, scoring, bookmarking, and resume behavior work identically across all languages before handoff.

Process

How it works

  1. 1

    Source course assessment

    1 business day

We audit your source course for complexity: authoring tool and version, slide count, interaction types (triggers, variables, branching), audio/video assets, on-screen text in images, quiz mechanics, and LMS target. You receive a quote with per-language cost, timeline, and any preparation notes.

  2. 2

    Content extraction

    1–2 business days

Translatable strings are extracted to XLIFF or Word for linguist work. On-screen text in images is flagged for separate image localization. Voice-over scripts are extracted with timing markers. Variables, triggers, and LMS metadata remain untouched.

  3. 3

    Translation and voice-over

    3–5 business days per language

Translation performed by e-learning subject specialists using CAT tools with translation memory leverage. Voice-over recorded with professional talent or generated via premium AI voice engines (ElevenLabs, Azure Neural TTS) per client preference. Both options include voice matching to client-specified profile.

  4. 4

    Reintegration and layout

    2–3 business days per language

E-learning engineers import translated text and audio back into the authoring tool. Slide layouts adjusted for text expansion, typography corrected per target language, audio synchronized with animations and triggers, interactions and branching verified.

  5. 5

    LMS testing and delivery

    1–2 business days

Course published in SCORM 1.2 or 2004 or xAPI per client LMS. End-to-end testing on target LMS verifies completion tracking, quiz scoring, bookmark behavior, resume across sessions. Test logs and screenshots included with delivery. Final SCORM/xAPI packages provided per language.

Pricing Model

How we price

E-learning localization is priced per course-minute including translation, voice-over (human or AI), on-screen text, quiz localization, LMS testing, and SCORM/xAPI repackaging. DTP work specifically (on-screen text, image localization) is priced per page at US$1–3 with RTL/CJK/Indic premiums. Voice-over pricing varies significantly between professional talent (higher cost, broadcast quality) and AI voice generation (lower cost, 5–10x cheaper, suitable for internal training). Detailed line-item quotes provided covering each component. Ongoing programs with quarterly course releases qualify for 15–25% discounts.
